SYLVIA ACEVEDO, CEO, Girl Scouts of the USA, was featured on the Freakonomics radio show discussing her upbringing and how “girls like her” didn’t go to college. During the interview she shares how joining the very same organization she became CEO of changed her life path. Click here to listen.

LOREEN ARBUS, President, Loreen Arbus Foundation, was interviewed by  Philanthropy Women to discuss what’s inspired her philanthropic efforts and recently receiving the Eagle Award at the Disability Rights Advocates’ 2019 Gala at the American Museum of Natural History. Click here to read.

CAROLYN MALONEY, Congresswoman, U.S. House of Representatives, was elected as Chair of the Oversight Committee in the House of Representatives. She is the first woman to serve as chair of the committee. Click here to read.

BARBARA NOVICK, Vice Chairman, BlackRock Inc., will be honored at the upcoming UJA-Federation of New York Wall Street & Financial Services Division Dinner on December 9, 2019.

DEIDRE QUINN, Co-founder & CEO, Lafayette 148 New York, was a featured panelist at a private evening at Nordstrom’s flagship NYC store. The event was hosted by the Women’s Forum of New York and C200. She discussed her early career and what inspired her to create a clothing line for today’s modern woman.

STACEY J. RAPPAPORT, Partner and Member of Global Executive Committee, Milbank LLP, received the Fordham Law Champion of Justice Award for her advocacy and pro bono work supporting  domestic violence survivors and gender equality. Click here to read.

CASEY SANTOS, Head of Business Process Innovation, AllianceBernstein,  joined AllianceBernstein on November 4, 2019 as the Head of Business Process Innovation.

CARLA SINGER, President and Executive Producer, Carla Singer Productions, Executive Produced a film titled Four Winters; Jewish Partisans in World War II. The film has been invited to premiere at the Lincoln Center Jewish Film Festival on January 17 & 19 and it will also be screened at the Miami Jewish Film Festival.

LORI SOKOL, Executive Director, Women’s eNews, was featured in Forbes discussing her career and being a advocate for women’s rights.Click here to read.

ALICIA SYRETT, Founder & CEO, Pantegrion Capital, published an article “So You Say You Support Diversity?” in Directors & Boards magazine. She conducted a Fireside Chat with Randi Zuckerberg at the Tech Up For Women conference at the Javits Center in NYC, and she spoke to the CFA Society of NY at a Morgan Stanley Wealth Management event on Women & Wealth. She was quoted in a Refinery29 article called “Women Helping Women Is Good Business – Here’s How To Make It Work For You.” She held her Point 25 Initiative Fall 2019 Series over a 2 week period where she hosted ~50 of the most promising women startup CEOs from across the country and matched them with C-Level executives as potential Advisory Board members. She spoke about angel investing at the Founders + Funders Summit and also at the UBS Project Entrepreneur Women in Venture Summit at Google.
